Available for charter is our fast 38 foot boat the MV REBECCA ANN which cruises at 18 knots and is full licensed and capable of comfortably taking 12 persons on diving, fishing or scenic cruises. For fishing trips the boat is fully equipped with rods and tackle (all you need to bring is the bait and we can also supply this if required) for group fishing trips to the Summer Isles and the surrounding area. We are noted for finding the fish - all you need to do is catch them
We cater for the serious and the not so serious angler of all ages, children are welcome as long you remember that hooks that can catch fish can also catch children!
The species we can target vary depending
on the time of year, in July through to September mackerel,
flounder & plaice, skate, Pollack, and code are plentiful.
At other times of the year we may go for the larger cod and
other species.
A cheeky seal trying to steal a fish. Daily Rates for the boat and skipper are from £300 a day depending on the time of year and the distance to the fishing grounds. For fishing clubs and other groups a "special" introductory rate may also be available please give us a phone to discuss. Packed lunches can also be provided by "Maggie's Tea Room" with a wide range to choose from starting at £6.00 per person including soup, sandwitches / salad and tea and coffee. We take out groups of up to 12 persons fishing around the Summer Isles, Loch Broom and Gruinard Bay areas. Daily rates are very reasonable and for a group of 9 or more we charge £38 per person with the trip organiser going free. The more people the lower the individual cost. An additional charge may be required depending on the location chosen for fishing and therefore the fuel used to get there and back.
The boat is also available for private cruise hire. The coastal areas around Loch Broom, Gruinard and the Summer Isles are famous for whale, Dolphin and porpoises spotting as well as the outstanding natural beauty of the area. Book the boat and skipper on a daily basis - our rates are very reasonable and you will have an experience you will remember and share with others for years to come.
At Camusnagaul we have a range of excellent accommodation including 3 Star rated Dundonnell hotel, bed & breakfast, holiday cottages and the 16 bed croft hostel to suit most persons holiday and accommodation requirements. We can arrange your accommodation - just let us know your requirements.
