The Scottish Highlands has some of the finest scenery with wonderful mountains, beaches and wilderness areas. Below are just a few pictures to hopefully get you in the mood to spend some time exploring the area around Camusnagaul, Dundonnell, Ullapool, Poolewe, Aultbea and Mellon Udrigle - all within easy travelling distance of Creag Ard Charters location at Little Loch Broom.

Mellon Udrigle

Beach at Mellon Udrigle

The Scottish Highlands is famous for its clean sandy beaches and we have 4 well known beaches nearby. The great thing about our beaches is that even in the middle of summer the beaches are often not that busy, you do not need to fight over the space to have a picnic or barbeque - and most importantly dogs are also welcome on most beaches.

Fisherfield and the River Gruinard

View towards Fisherfield and An Teallach along the River Gruinard

For diving enthusiasts who also enjoy climbing we have a number of famous munros nearby, some within 10 minutes drive from Dundonnell. These mountain ranges also have a number of walks which are suitable for persons of all ages and you can enjoy a 2-5 mile walk with the kids or a 25 mile walk for the more ambitious.

Loch Maree

View of Loch Maree near Poolewe

Loch Maree is famous for its salmon fishing and the beautiful scenery. The Beinn Eighe nature reserve has a number of walks and an information centre.
